There are much different chicken breast recipe can be made using this delectable poultry. This article discusses the possibility of a lemon-based version with a little dough.

Allow for approximately 40 minutes to process, including 25 for preparation, up to another 15 for cooking. Meals can be served warm (although it can also be cold and saved for later). The recipe as described below serves approximately 4 people.


Ingredients
  • ¼ Cup good olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp chopped, garlic (9 cloves)
  • ⅓ Cup dry white wine
  • 1 tbsp orange zest, grated (2 lemons)
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 ½ tsp dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, chopped
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 (6 to 8 oz each) skin on chicken breast
  • 1 lemon


Direction
  • Preheat the oven to temperature 400 degrees F.
  • Olive oil in a small saucepan warm over medium-low, add the garlic, and cook for just 1 minute but do not let the garlic turn brown. From the heat, add the white wine, lemon zest, lemon juice, oregano, thyme, and 1 teaspoon salt and pour into baking dish 9 by 12-inch.
  • Pat dry the chicken breasts and place them next to the skin until more of the sauce. Brush chicken breasts with olive oil and sprinkle them with salt and pepper. 8 lemon slices cut and tuck between the chicken pieces.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes depending on the size of chicken breasts until chicken is done and tanned skin. If the chicken doesn't Brown, put it under the grill for 2 minutes. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil and let stand for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and then serve hot with the pan juices.



This is one of those recipes that you will find yourself using again and again.  Generate all-purpose chicken breast can be added to recipes, served in a sandwich or prepared in advance for food preparation.
