Chicken and mushroom stroganoff easy

The chicken is cheap, versatile and available throughout the year. Although it may meet on its own, can be used in millions of recipes from soups, stews, pasta, rice, and even menus. It's healthy, too! Most of all, this chicken is so easy to prepare and Cook, especially in a slow cooker.
Creamy Chicken Stroganoff with mushrooms and chicken tenders feature mushrooms smothered in a rich cream sauce.
This dish takes only about 30 minutes to start to finish to make the meal a day working perfectly!
We love to serve this easy Chicken Stroganoff over egg noodles with a side salad and crusty bread for a perfect meal!
Ingredients
- Diced Chicken breast Skinless boneless 2 lbs
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 3 tbsp of butter divided
- 8 ounces baby Bella mushrooms sliced
- ½ Yellow onion finely diced
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ½ TSP ground mustard
- ½ TSP onion powder
- ½ TSP garlic powder
- ¾ cup sour cream
- 4-ounces cream cheese softened
- salt and pepper to taste
- chopped fresh parsley for garnish
- 1 pound cooked large egg noodles according to pack
Instructions
- The chicken cubes, and season with salt and pepper
- In a large skillet, add 1 tbsp of olive oil, and garlic chopped 2 tsp, and stir-fry for 1 minute.
- Enter the chicken to the Pan, and saute until browned on all sides, but not cooked.
- Remove the chicken, place it in a large bowl, and set aside.
- Add 1 tbsp butter, mushrooms, and onions to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes, sauteing the onions until soft. Remove from the skillet, add to the Bowl just like chicken
- Add remaining butter to skillet.
- Add flour, and whisk together, making a roux.
- Add the chicken broth, slowly, stirring constantly so it doesn't get lumpy.
- Stir in the ground mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, cream cheese, and sour cream.
- Stir in chicken and vegetables, and simmer for a few minutes, until heated through.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles and then garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
