There is nothing like eating chicken and biscuit pie on a cold day to warm your belly. Mom's comfort food that always welcomes any while eating. This dish can be prepared in about 30 minutes so you won't have to spend a lot of time in preparation.
Pot pie-chicken Chicken Soup is basically covered with a crust of bread or cake. The following pot pie recipe uses canned soup to ease of preparation. The first has a recipe topping made from biscuit mix and fill that reminds me of canned cream soup. The second is probably the fastest way to make chicken pot pie; It is even faster if you choose to use a rotisserie chicken. The latter is another pot pie with biscuit topping.

Chicken and vegetables baked in cream sauce and topped with a buttery crust of biscuit.
Materials
- 2 cups frozen vegetables
- 1 1/2 cups cooked Diced Chicken
- 1 can cream of chicken soup, 10.5 oz
- 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- & salt pepper to taste
- 3/4 cup milk is divided
- mix 1 cup biscuit like Bisquick
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine chicken, vegetables, soup, 1/4 cups milk and seasonings in the 9 's "deep dish pie pan.
- In a separate bowl, blend the mixture of biscuits, eggs and remaining 1/2 cup milk. Stir with a fork and pour the chicken mixture.
- Bake covered 30 minutes or golden brown.
Chicken pot pie has always been one of my entry to comfort foods, especially in the winter! Who could pass up a creamy comforting meal like this? I know I can't!
Pot Pie-chicken is a dish best served fresh, however, reheats beautifully crusted biscuits version should you have any leftover!
