Do you like meat? Bacon could be one of your favorite foods to your meal, if not number one. There are many foods that you can add meat to add flavor.

Bacon wrapped chicken is the perfect combination of creamy cheese, jalapeno Chili, chicken, and meat all in one! This recipe combines ingredients that are simple and delicious to the dish comes together easily and leave your family begging for seconds!

Bacon wrapped chicken is the perfect combination of creamy cheese goodness with a kick of heat-all wrapped up in a meat and juicy chicken breasts, but it also creates a very slightly dirty dishes to make clean up a breeze!  (And every dish that doesn't require a ton of dishes is perfect in my book)!


Ingredients
  • boneless chicken breasts 2
  • 4 tablespoons spreadable cream cheese
  • 1 clove chopped garlic
  • 2 tablespoons diced jalapenos
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 oz cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices of raw meat
  • 2 tablespoons seasoning Southwest


Instructions
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line pan with foil.
  • In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, garlic, jalapenos and salt pepper &.
  • Butterfly chicken breast (so that you can open like a book). Add cream cheese mixture of 1/2 and 1/2 from cheddar cheese to each chicken breast. Cover chicken breasts wrapped around cheese.
  • Wrap two bacon slices around each chicken breast to seal it shut making sure the ends are tucked under the chicken meat to hold it in place. Rub the spice of the Southwest over the meat.
  • Bake on the prepared pan to 35-40 minutes or until cooked through.


Cheesy meat wrapped chicken recipe is great to go with a side of grilled meat wrapped like corn or even just the classic cabbage. It makes for a fantastic Labor Day dinner or the perfect potluck dish.  I actually always tried to make extra so that I have some leftover for lunch the next day because it reheats beautifully and as crazy as it sounds, I like to slice the leftovers and serve them cold!

Use your imagination when it comes to baking with meat. There are many foods that you can add the meat to the grill for the food even more flavorful.
