Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup uncooked long grain white rice
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 package onion soup mix or use homemade
- 10 oz can cream of mushroom soup condensed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees f.
- Then spray a 9 × 13 pan with cooking spray. Add the chicken breasts and season with pepper and salt.
- Pour the raw chicken rice. Sprinkle with onion soup mix.
- Then mix mushroom soup and 1 1/2 cup of water. Pour over the chicken.
- Cover and bake 1 hour 15 minutes or until the rice is tender.
If time does not allow cooking chicken, you can purchase a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store and cut. When cooking rice, use one can of chicken broth as part of water to give a flavor added to a casserole.
