Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 chicken Boneless Skinless breast
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of salt is divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Lemon rind
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Thyme or 1 teaspoon fresh Thyme leaves


Instructions
  • Rub the chicken breasts with the garlic, lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoons salt, and pepper and let stand for 15-20 minutes.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet and then add chicken breasts. Cook the breasts for 5-6 minutes on each side until cooked through and not pink from inside. Once cooked, take the chicken breasts from the Pan and set aside on a plate. Cover the dish with foil to keep warm breast.
  • In the same pan heat butter and Add flour. Stir in the flour for a minute and slowly began to stir in the milk until all the milk is established and there are no lumps.
  • Simmer the sauce while stirring occasionally until sauce thickens a bit. Add the lemon zest, salt, and remaining thyme and mix. Add the chicken back to the Pan and bring to a boil for two minutes. Serve immediately.
